Dr Ken Kwong-Kay WONG |
Based in Toronto, Canada, Ken Kwong-Kay Wong teaches Marketing at U21Global, and facilitates subjects in marketing, eBusiness and entrepreneurship. He is also a recipient of the Faculty Excellence Award 2008 and 2009 at U21Global where he was honoured in all three award categories including Outstanding Professor, Most Innovative Professor, and Excellence in Online Education. Previously, Dr Wong was an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at TUI University in the US. Since 2003, he has been developing and lecturing marketing courses at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies and also at various institutions of higher education in North America.
He has extensive industry experience through marketing roles with multinationals including Apple Computer, Corel, PSINet, Sprint, and Telus. Dr Wong has previously served as Vice President of Marketing at TeraGo Networks, Canada's largest fixed wireless company, and as Director of eProduct Marketing for North America at PSINet's eCommerce division. In 2004, he co-founded Aidmas Corporation, a marketing software company.
Dr Wong earned his Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia. He graduated from the International MBA programme at Nyenrode Business Universiteit in the Netherlands and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. His research interests include customer retention, rate plan optimisation and new product development strategies in the wireless industry. He is the author of two books on IT and is certified by the American Marketing Association as a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM).
